Membership in WIC:

Membership is open to women of all nationalities. Current number of members - 112. Cost of annual membership: Rp. 120.000. Most activities are held in English.

Membership entitles a person to:

  • Attend all Club events (coffee mornings, outings and celebrations) and WIC circles (handicraft and languages)
  • Serve on the board

About the Women's International Club of Bandung

The goals of WIC:
  • To build and strengthen ties of international friendship and understanding between women of different nationalities.
  • To develop interest in the culture of various countries, particularly subjects of interest to women.
Activities include:
  • Organizing meetings and gatherings to promote friendly relations and mutual understanding amongst members.
  • Organizing educational, cultural and other non-political gatherings amongst members and to communicate with other organizations with similar aims.
  • Assisting expatriates to learn about the country, people and cultures of Indonesia.
Regular monthly meetings are held on the 1st or 2nd Tuesday of the month at one of the members' homes from 09.30 am - 12.00 noon. Cost for the monthly meeting - Rp. 15.000 for members and Rp. 20.000 for non-members.
