Membership

Membership is open to expatriate men. Maximum number of members catered for: approximately 20. Cost of membership: approximately Rp1,300,000 per annum. Membership entitles use of courts (x2) at Club 25, Kemang on Tuesdays from 6.00pm to 10.00pm and Saturdays from 3.00pm to 6.00pm. A playing charge is also payable by each player on the day to cover beer and water only (Members approximately Rp 50,000 and non-members Rp 100,000).

Intending members are normally requested to participate for a number of weeks to ensure all parties are comfortable with each other following which an offer to join may be made.

SODS enters up to three teams in the Jakarta squash inter league competition. This competition is held twice a year. The inter league is played on Tuesday nights.

About SODS

SODS is a worldwide, non-charitable organization dedicated to the furtherance of drinking, camaraderie, foolishness, sexual awareness, train driving and occasional squash.

SODS offers an opportunity to interested squashers to continue the game in an informal and relaxed environment at a reasonable price.
Squash on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons is normally followed by round table drinks, vibrant discussions and the famous SODS Saturday sausage sizzle.

SODS will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in May 2012.
