Membership in the International English Service

Membership is open to men, women and children. The church currently has 2,000 members and has been active since 1999.

Services are held in three locations: at UOB on Jalan Thamrin, (near to Grande Indonesia), Pondok Indah at the Citibank building on Sunday and in the West in Wisma Achilles on Jalan Panjang.

SATURDAYS - Thamrin 9, Jalan Thamrin

6:00-7:30 pm Saturday Adult Worship Service
Kid’s Slot (Sunday School style classes for ages 3-11)
IES Teens (Special gathering just for teenagers)
2 Teens gatherings: Junior High and Senior High

SUNDAYS - Thamrin 9, Jalan Thamrin

9:00-10:30 am Sunday School for kids (ages 3-12)
Adult Worship Service
11:00-12:30 am Adult Worship Service
IES Teen Service (2 services for junior high and senior high)

Big Kids' Church (ages 9-10)

During the week over 80 LIFE Groups held in different geographic parts of the city: including Kuningan, Menteng, Kebun Jeruk, Pondok Indah, Pulo Mas, Lebak Bulus, Casablanca, Rempoa and Lippo Karawaci, as well as special groups for men and women. For more details call the church office.

Most activities are held in English.

IES is a church targeting the English-speaking communities of Jakarta, both expatriate and Indonesian. We have a focus on families with a strong children's program and a progressive program for teenagers. Our style of service is non-traditional, with lively, contemporary worship. We are affiliated with the Assemblies of God of Indonesia, but our church members come from many different countries and church backgrounds.

The International English Service is an integrated part of the GSJA Batu Tulis - the Batu Tulis Assembly of God.
Notices are placed in The Jakarta Post Classifieds to announce regularly scheduled meetings or special events.
