We are the Jakarta Komodos Junior Rugby Club for kids (boys and girls) from the age of 5 to 18.

The new Jakarta Komodos Rugby season starts again in a matter of weeks with the kick of BBQ and fun games being held on the 3rd September 2016. We are so much looking forward to seeing all our players again and welcoming a new group of players.

Training will be held as follows:

  • Saturdays - Jagorawi gold club (exit 24 on the Jagorawi tol road and take the right fork at the exit) - from 9:00 to 10:30 or 11:00am for older age groups
  • Tuesdays - Only for U9 and up - JIS, Field 1 from 5:45 to7 - 7:30pm max

The fees this year for the whole season (September 3rd to May 6th) will be:

  • U8's and below Rp.2,500,000
  • U9's and above Rp.3,000,000

Discount of Rp.500,000 will be offered to siblings. Fees include equipment, field rental and full kit as well as tournament registration.

Registration date is yet to be confirmed but will be processed through the JIS Academy website - both JIS and Non-JIS children will be able to register through this means.

Tours penciled in for this season are:

  • Jakarta Inter-schools tournament - starts in October to the end of January
  • Centaurs tournament, Singapore - 3rd and 4th of December
  • Bangkok 10s tournament, Thailand - 24th to the 26th February
  • Possible Bali tournament in March or April
  • Jakarta 10s tournament, Jakarta - 6th May
​Age groupings as follows up to January 2017:
  • U7s touch - born in 2009 or after
  • U8s contact - born in 2008
  • U9/U10s - born in 2007 and 2006
  • U11/U12s - born in 2005 and 2004
  • U13/U14s - born in 2003 and 2002
  • U15/U16s - born in 2001 and 2000
  • U17/U18s - born in 1999 and 1998
  • Womens U18 - born in 1998 - 2001

We welcome girls and boys of all ages.
