Learning a new language at Berlitz! The original founding principles remain the core of the Berlitz Method today: focus on conversation first with maximum student participation, speak only the language being taught, present objects and actions in a building-block approach, teach grammar by example and visual demonstration, employ native-fluent instructors and make corrections in a positive way to build students’ confidence. The IALF - through its three language centres - offers a range of English and Indonesian language training courses. All centres are accredited IELTS test centres. IALF Bali is an accredited provider of the Trinity College Certificate in TESOL, an internationally-recognised qualification for those wishing to teach English to speakers of other languages.

Indonesian language training: The IALF offers a comprehensive program in Bahasa Indonesia from beginner to advanced level. With over 15 years experience in the teaching of Bahasa Indonesia to expatriates, through centres in Jakarta, Surabaya and Denpasar, the program is aimed at those who are serious about learning to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia.

The International Language Institute (LBI) at Universitas Indonesia, the top university in Indonesia, offers a range of Indonesian language courses and tests as well as other foreign language courses  and tests including English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Dutch, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean besides translation and interpreting courses and services. Classes are scheduled from Monday to Friday, 9:00AM – 12:15PM, and 8:45AM – 1:15PM (for Inter-Semester Program).
