Lombok offers an wide array of beautiful tropical beaches, landscapes, a towering volcanic mountain - Gunung Rinjani - and some of the most spiritual sites that Indonesia has to offer. Pura Lingsar is a large temple complex, built in 1714, is considered the holiest place on Lombok, while Taman Narmada features a magnificent temple. Both destinations are considered sacred places of worship for Balinese pilgrims.
