Our Kindergarten has two stages: K-1 for ages 18 months – 3 years; K-2 for ages 3 years – 5 years. A dynamic and engaging curriculum is followed with IEP (Individual Education Plan) established to meet each student’s educational and personal development needs.
Primary students, Pre-Primary through Primary Grade 4 (for ages 5 years - 9 years), attend school from 8.00am through 2.30pm.
Middle Years (Grades 5-9) attends school from 8.00am through 3.00pm. All classes have a fully certified Teacher and one Teacher Assistant. Subjects include: Numeracy (Math), Literacy (English), Science, SOSE, Computer, Art, Bahasa Indonesia and Music. Sekolah Ciputra is the only school in Surabaya authorized to offer each of the highly respected International Baccalaureate (IB) Programmes. The IB Primary Years Programme commences in Play Group, formal education for 3 year olds, and continues until the end of Elementary Grade 6. The IB Middle Years Programme covers the first 4 years of the High School, Grade 7-10, providing excellent preparation for the IB Diploma in Grades 11 and 12.

Sekolah Global Indo-Asia (SGIA) was founded in 2000 to serve the educational needs of children of the national and international community living in and around Batam, Indonesia. SGIA is a non-sectarian, non-profit coeducational day school, enrolling students in Pre-School through the 12th Grade. Boarding is offered to Grades 7 – 12 (ages 12 – 18) students enrolled in UWCSEA’s Middle School, (I)GCSE and IB Diploma programmes. Boarders enjoy the care of dedicated staff, many of whom are also teachers at the College, while staying in purpose-built accommodation. Places are available for students starting Grades 7 to 10 from August 2011 on the new East Campus.
