Membership

Membership is open to Belgian and Luxembourg expatriates as well as persons of any nationality having links with Belgium or Luxembourg. Current number of members approx. 150. Cost of annual membership is Rp. 150,000 per family or Rp. 100,000 for individuals. The fiscal year runs from January till December. Most activities are conducted in English, Dutch, French and/or Bahasa Indonesia.

Membership entitles a person to receive the monthly e-Parasol magazine, join the organization's activities and get information and assistance with issues and problems
related with life as an expatriate in Indonesia. The e-parasol lists BLIC activities to which members are invited.

Activities

BLIC tries to provide a 'bridge' between all Belgians and Luxembourgers that live for a long or short period in Indonesia. We organize activities on a regular basis and are always willing to provide help or advice to any of our members.

Activities include a bi-monthly social dinner (at cost price), historic and cultural excursions, sportive events, celebration of special events (Saint Nicholas, Easter, etc.) and participation in charities.
