SOS is here to provide primary health care services in Indonesia by operating
three clinics of international standards located in Jakarta and Bali, under
the name SOS Medika. Opened in 1985, our clinics are run by a highly trained
and specialized team to ensure that you receive quality, comprehensive medical
care while in Indonesia.
We aim to give you peace of mind by taking care of all your health care needs, from primary medical needs to any unforeseen emergencies. Our professional team of doctors, nurses, and clinic staff can provide you with the medical care you deserve through our commitment to customer care and implementation of international standards in healthcare services and infection/disease control.
SOS Medika Clinic can arrange home visit and office visit services by our doctors whenever required. Our doctors should be advised the nature of the problem over the phone; then the doctor can make the decision on the necessity of visit and any special equipment or drugs that may be required.
Japanese
Channel SOS Medika established Japanese Channel in 1995 to meet the need of Japanese expatriates and their families on receiving medical treatments without any anxiety especially on the cultural differences such as the language issue.
We provide Japanese speaking General Practitioner and Dentist who were trained in Japan and also, Japanese speaking staffs who could communicate directly with the clients and available daily at all of our clinic locations to assist our Japanese clients in obtaining their medical care while they are in Indonesia.
SOS Medika Family Dental Clinics are able to provide routine dental care including emergency dental surgery. We also offer services to give patients a piece of mind knowing that their dental needs can also be addressed during emergency situation. Teams of qualified dentists who have been well trained internationally as well as in Indonesia are available daily in our Cipete, Kuningan, and Bali clinics to take care your family dental needs.

addition to a number of our general practitioners that are available at the
Jakarta SOS Medika Clinic locations, we also provide a wide rage of specialist
doctors that include:
We operate a 24hr in-house pharmacy (Cipete & Bali clinics). Quality of all medicines supplied through our pharmacy is with the International Standards, and all drugs stocked in our pharmacy are approved by Badan Pengawasan Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) Indonesia and using the United States Food and Drug Administration standard. When we source our medicine from suppliers we are very careful to use only Good Sales Practice only suppliers.
LaboratorySOS Medika Clinic, at all three locations, is equipped with an in-house laboratory. Our laboratories are supported by properly calibrated and maintained latest technology laboratory equipment from renowned manufacturers with CE or FDA certified reagents and operated by well-trained and certified technicians.
To ensure the quality of our laboratory results, we strictly adhere to quality control standards set by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Indonesian Clinical Pathologist Association, and the Royal College of Pathology Australia.
In addition, our lab procedures conform to the Universal Precaution and Standard Precaution of Infection Control that include using aseptic technique, and sterile and disposable equipment for specimen collection.
Tests that can be conducted in SOS Medika laboratory facilities include Clinical and Anatomical Pathology Services. All lab findings will be treated with the highest confidentiality.
In addition for cervical cancer screening, we provide both conventional Pap test and a new liquid based technology which is a new development in Pap’s Smear testing. By using the new liquid based technology, we could provide both Thin Prep test and HPV test.
In the near future, our lab will also be equipped to conduct Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test, a technique commonly used to diagnose infectious diseases with a faster and accurate result.
SOS Medika Clinic Cipete and Bali are equipped with an emergency room to assist you in any medical emergency 24 hours/7 days a week.
SOS Medika Clinic has dedicated ambulances on stand by 24 hours/7 days a week to respond to any emergency situation that you may have. All of our dedicated ambulances are fitted with international standard equipment to provide the necessary medical assistance when transporting a patient.
We provide a minor surgery room to manage any cases that require minor suturing or the application of plaster casts.
We have fully trained emergency nurses available 24 hours / 7 days a week to provide you with the highest standard of medical care.
