Hi dear all,
my name is Ali Maleki, and I really like to know about apportunity to work as an expatriate in Indonesia. I'm a GP with 8 years working experience as a doctor. and recently I've been married to Indonesian lady and have plan to move there in 3 or 4 months from now.

Hi All,
We are in Jakarta now for about a month. My husband is Indonesian but we live in the states.
This site is such a great source. Made me laugh so hard at some of the very familiar stories.
If we ever decide to l;ive here for good, I will reach out more within all the great sources on the site

Hello to anyone who is a lover of Indonesian language and culture... besides myself. Originally from Washington, D.C. I went to Samarinda, Kalimantan 1988-89 with the American Field Service (AFS) along with about 60 international exchange students (including 20 Americans). Thanks to a generous grant from Unocal 76, my family was able to afford the trip. The extraordinary memories are still with me as though I left last week. The hospitality, food and people are unparalleled... Enjoy!
